100 day celebration

Finally after 100 days at school we got to celebrate the day with a party. We counted all our large collection of items in ones and tens onto a display. Then we went around the junior school to look at their collections. What an amazing assortment of 100 items. Ryan was one of many, who's display of 100 red poppies was outstanding. We then enjoyed our delicious shared lunch and all ate far too much. Thanks Mrs Yukich for the amazing 100 day cupcakes. A disco entertained us after lunch with music supplied by Mrs D'Lima. Frozen was the movie of choice by most children in Room 1 and 2 and before we knew it was home time.

Hot Wheels day

We had just finished discussing the 'Teddy Bears Picnic' day and decided  to brain storm other fun ideas using the 'Green thinking hat'. Harshil shared his thinking about having a Hot Wheels day at school. We deceided it would be considerate to include our friends in Room 2 as well. Great discussions went on in each group about how each track would be designed and how this would be delegated. All groups showed their values and key compendencies as the photos show.

Gymnastics trip.

Finally we got our chance to show off our gymnastic talents. We all loved the bus ride especially seeing the 'dance school' on the way through Glen Eden thanks girls. It was very crisp inside the gym and Jesica was extremely brave with the cold. Once we all warmed up a bit we soon forgot about the cold and loved trying out all the equipment. Apparently the favourite stations were the trampoline and the foam pit. Thanks to all our amazing parents for coming along and helping us.
